About Me: Rechelle Ann Barraquias is currently the chairperson of the Development Communication program in Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. She has served as mentor many past P2P campaigns, namely, I Am Mindanao, Peacekwela, and #SML Project. She is also currently involved in several peace and media literacy campaigns as consultant and mentor.

A few sentences on your Peer to Peer: Facebook Global Digital Challenge program experience: My P2P experience has taught me the amazing power the young people hold when it comes to peacebuilding. Their creativity and talent continues to amaze me with each batch of teams doing the campaigns.

A few sentences on why your project so important/impactful: I Am Mindanao has created a ripple all throughout the island of Mindanao. The campaign has long got out of the confines of the university and has sparked conversations and interests of your people to take part in the peacebuilding initiatives in the region.
