As a recent graduate from the master’s program, I am hoping to get into the P/CVE field working in human intelligence. I have worked on another similar project for Department of State looking at CVE and counter radicalization internationally. Specifically I focused on the deradicalization techniques of the countries in the Middle East.

Having gotten the opportunity to have a mentor who is working on the same issue that we chose to work on was very insightful. There is a blind spot upon exiting the United States Armed Forces. The order, structure, and sense of purpose are removed as an unintended by product of no longer serving in the military. Our project is intended to shore up these mitigable circumstances in order to help to alleviate the potential for radicalization of military members transitioning to the civilian world.
