“The I2P program offers a supportive environment in which students are encouraged to design, create, and implement innovative ideas to counter targeted violence. The support staff at I2P helps students cultivate leadership and organizational skills in the fulfillment of time-bound goals. I would gladly recommend this program to university students in the U.S. who are seeking an opportunity to bring an idea to life in service of meaningful change.” -Vik
Our Project VOICES offers professional development opportunities for educators and educational staff across the U.S. to counter biases and develop moral resilience, non-violent problem solving, and social connectedness in their in-school practices. These capacities, all of which are protective factors against targeted violence, equip educational personnel with the resources and tools to foster school cultures where biases are met, not with silence, but resilience; where questions aren’t stifled, but courageously posed; and where educators work towards countering biased speech and action to create a sense of belonging for every student in the classroom and beyond
