Tapiwa Last Gilfas Nherera is currently a student of Peace and Conflict Studies (M.A) at the University of Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) with, Bsc Honours in Political Science (2017) and Msc International Relations (2019). He served as an assistant lecturer in the Politics-Administrative studies department, UZ (2017-2018), Transitional Justice Research-Director at RISA (2018).
Tapiwa has described the opportunity of participating in the Facebook Global Digital Challenge as being bitter-sweet since he has hadto simultaneously work hard towards his academic goals and contributing to societal transformation.
On the topic of importance of the project, Tapiwa was quoted saying:
“Our project provides a groundbreaking transformation of ethical conduct by transforming ‘goodness’ from being an abstract given concept, to inducing realness, consciousness and application with the potential to transform future generations. By means of technology in the form of a game, it is self-sustaining and adaptable to different contexts because goodness is universal.”
