More About Invent2Prevent

Over the course of the academic term, Invent2Prevent (I2P) student teams are challenged to design, implement, and measure the success of a social or digital product, tool, or initiative with a strong call-to-action to prevent hate crimes, targeted violence, and terrorism. Invent2Prevent teams are encouraged to optimize the sustainability of their project to continue beyond the program term. Currently, funding and professional support are allocated to sustain and grow select collegiate projects through a yearlong sustainment program. Additionally, I2P student participants are eligible to apply for up to a $5,000 scholarship award to continue their study of topics related to intelligence and analysis, terrorism, violent extremism, or prevention. Past I2P teams have also been awarded funds to continue and enhance their projects through the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program.
